Why do we like this?
One of my favorite collections on Indie Shuffle is the Traveling Gypsy Dance Party Mix. So because I'm a gypsy, or because the sound of whimsical brass dotting tech house is inevitably dazzling, I have a serious crush on this track.
Either way, my insatiable travel thirst has been temporarily subdued by my sense for new sound. The novelty wears thin on occasion, especially when Whomi chooses to strip the horn to build the bass, but thanks to a good memory and trippy house eccentricities arriving throughout, there are still enough candles on this cake to make it a party (a traveling gypsy dance party!).
For the original, solid house version, check out Swedish Zoo Brazil's SoundCloud. And for a very different, yet equally lovely track, check out Whomi's rework of Fink's "Who Says."
