Why do we like this?

Zola Jesus takes a different approach with new single, "Dangerous Days." She leaves behind the goth-synth textures of her earlier work and delivering a catchy and vibrant dose of modern electronica that will have you dancing in your underwear.

That's not to say there isn't a dark intensity to Nika Roza Danilova's emotional vocals, but "Dangerous Days" has a poppier edge, with the driving beat complimenting Danilova's heartbreaking lyrics.
