Girl Unit & P Money Wut (Zinc Mix) / Came In The Room

Once a month, London producer Zinc releases a Soundcloud "Crack House Mix." Now as far as I know, these aren't actually songs that he's made in a crack house -- it's his own style of music that he's uniquely crafted. After growing disillusioned with the drum and bass scene, Zinc went his own way, eventually creating a genre he refers to as crack house.

Crack house roughly revolves around hard synths and a fast pumping house beat -- so that's one half of the title explained, at least. Maybe he makes it when he's high on crack? (Joke) It certainly sends fans into a frenzy, as anyone who has seen him live will attest.

The best known song so far has been his collaboration with Ms Dynamite on "Wile Out," but I also have a couple of remixes that will help bring more attention to his sound.

The first is actually a mashup of a remix: Zinc's takeover of Girl Unit's "Wut" with P-Money layered on top. This is definitely the best dance floor track I've heard all year.

The second is a re-interpretation of one of last year's most popular dance floor tracks here in the UK -- Katy B's "On a Mission" -- both giving a nice crack house kick at the fingers of Zinc.
