Why do we like this?
It's been more than three months since I posted "Young Lights" by Zeph, a Pittsburgh native who now makes music out of the Caribbean. Well, a recent check-in on dude's SoundCloud yielded some beautiful results that I am happy to share with you fine Shufflers.
Acoustic hip hop is not a genre I find myself swimming in often, but something about "Tigers Tantrum" has me itching for more. Featuring a top-notch production from beat maestro Cloudkicker and the added enchantment of Stephanie Cottman on the chorus, Zeph is able to flesh out his heart and soul on this haunting love song of sorts.
Lyrically, it cut me deep. Overall, it further cemented my belief in Zeph is an emcee worthy of some serious attention.
