Why do we like this?
The other night, Zeph, a Pittsburgh MC who has been making music in the Caribbean, emailed me out of the blue. He had sent over a handful of new music. One track that stuck out immediately was "Feel It."
I knew the production sounded familiar, but it took me a minute to realize that Zeph was rapping over Dream Koala's "We Can't Be Friends." Quick shout out to Bronte Martin for hyping Dream Koala on the site last year (they also have a new single out today, "Odyssey"). And a big shout out to Zeph for spitting some seriously heartfelt bars on "Feel It." Anyone else think Zeph and Dream Koala go pretty damn well together?
