Why do we like this?

No folks, your Nintendo didn't just magically turn itself back on in hopes you'd sit down to enjoy a good ol' game of Zelda. What you hear is in fact the musical creativity of Zedd, a German-based resident of the mau5trap team.

In this rework, I find the smooth interaction between 8-bit sounds and electronica to be by far the highlight. Hit the 1:15 mark, and your ears will start to tingle. Hell, your joystick thumbs might even get a little antsy. The best part is that all of that culminates in an awesome auditory award as the song breaks from 8-bit and heads into more eclectic electronica territory. You can pick up the track on Beatport
