Why do we like this?

I had a bad joke about a Sage Francis/Zap Mama mash-up to start talking about Zap Francis, but I think we're all better off without it. 

I can't say too much about today's peculiarly named artist, because, well, there is not much to know. First heard through a Boiler Room set, Francis will be releasing an instrumental EP through Bleep in October, but this banging, bare-bones track you're enjoying will not be included. This is a teaser -- an aperitif to pique your interest.  

Electronic hip-hop with a steady emphasis on the thump, it's hard to go wrong with your man Francis so far.
