Why do we like this?

Zach Yuto's single, "Square," is an experimental pop whirlwind, complete with pleasant eccentricities.

The layers of saturated tones build upon each other to create layers of unassuming chord progressions and slightly obscure tuning choices. That's not to say that "Square" isn't digestible... quite the opposite. There's a soothing quality to the track as it drifts between layers of lush guitar chords and the crooning vocals. The percussion's off kilter style creates an innovative cherry on top to this already impressively experimental composition.
