Hailing from Cape Town, indie pop artist, Yum Yuck, has released latest offering of 2020, "Setting Sun."
The song starts with a soft guitar opening, followed by a burst of bright synths layered with Pascal Righini's alluring vocals. Here is what he said about this track:
"Setting Sun" is a song about a journey. It emphasizes the places, spaces and moods that occupy the journey but not the destination itself. Sonically it sprawls from warm oceanic sunsets into foggy, moonlit highways and railways.
"Setting Sun" will be on the track list for Yum Yuck's upcoming project, Orange Sunshine, out later this year. The project was co-produced with Joshua Berry (HONEYMOAN, Twin Weaver), and will be the artist's first lengthy release since his 2017 EP, Figurals. I'm looking forward to listening!
