Why do we like this?

"Lighthouses" is the third release this year from multi-faceted Yum Yuck, aka Pascal Righini. I interpret the song lyrics as being about the grey area between friendship and romance. We've all been there, so we can all relate to this.

Pascal's vocals are smooth and ~cool~. I dig Yum Yuck's sound for that reason and because it's synth pop WITH funky bass riffs. I'm all about that bass, man.

Here's what Yum Yuck said about this new release:

LIGHTHOUSES' is colourful, groovy and smooth but with some jagged edges. The song feels like the emergence of Firefly from a deep dark cave, and sounds like an open highway of neon lights and icicles

So go out for a drive at night and blast this song. Maybe even play it for someone you're trying to get out of the friend zone with...

Cheers xoxo
