Why do we like this?

Young Summer has one of those exuberant indie pop sounds that almost masks the intensity of her lyricism. It's been nearly two years since we've seen a release from her, and "Alright" marks the introduction to a new era of her artistry.  

The first single off her new EP, "Alright" presents unrequited love using bright imagery and dreamy melodies. Sugary and subdued, the DC artist builds a warm atmosphere around her breathy vocals and fluttering notes.

Look out for her next EP on the horizon and bask in the sweetness of this summery anthem.
