Why do we like this?
Young Montana is a producer from Coventry, England; a town where The Specials are pretty much the only musical thing worth writing home about.
However, I think that might be about to change. Young Montana's music is difficult to confine to genres, so I'll stick to comparisons -- it reminds me most of Flying Lotus. Not something I say lightly, but the same glitchy sample-based sound is there, and listening to this track you'll be taken to a similarly unique place -- somewhere between soul, hip hop and electronica -- that sounds like none of these and all of these at the same time.
