My favorite kind of folk music are the songs that rely on a simple, acoustic guitar, performed by an artist who knows that’s all they really need to make a heartfelt tune. “Easier” is one of those songs.
North Carolina-based singer-songwriter, Steven Fiore, uses only a relaxed set of chords and his honest voice to guide the listener. Because of this, you’ll quickly grasp the meaningful lyrics about getting lost in your thoughts, like lines “You think of the things you didn't do / All of the things you never say / Every pretty face you never knew / But you close your eyes anyway.”
This single follows his second full length album,Sudden Swoon, released last year. Echoing his earlier works, the song is steady as a stream while pondering the tough question: will the hard things ever get easier?
