Possibly one of the most intriguing musical combinations I've ever come across "“ three of Australia's most celebrated musical figures on one track together.
Disco kings Yolanda Be Cool will always be known (as much as they're trying to avoid it) for their 2010 breakout collaboration with DCUP, "We Speak No Americano" "“ a track which went number 1 in countless countries worldwide. Their debut album, Ladies and Mentalmen, came out at the backend of last year, and they've just released their latest single off the album "A Baru in New York."
The duo pulled off an huge coup on this track, joining forces with the incredible indigenous vocalist Gurrumul, a true Australian icon. While the single is fantastic on its own (check it out here), they've brought in another talented Australian, Flume, to add his touch to it. With so much talent on one song, you'll be lucky to prevent your head from exploding"¦don't say I didn't warn you.
You can check out the video of the original single below.
