Why do we like this?
Emerging once more from the dynamically creative mind that brought you "Hold Me Down" and "Heavy Love" comes the latest offering from narrative artist Yoke Lore. "Safety" is the third single from his debut Far Shore EP which will be released May 6.
I could tell you Yoke Lore employs plucky banjo accents to give "Safety" a folk feel. I could even say it's complete with ghostly, echoing vocals and woozy, Animal Collective style layers.
However, I feel this track is better described in scenes. Rather than having a particular sound, it instead evokes a vision. One in which silhouetted apparitions writhe behind a thin film of chiffon. What do you think?
Give "Safety" a spin and pick up the EP from this promising artist on the B3SCI website.
