Why do we like this?
YNGCULT are an electro pop duo hailing from the City of Angels. While information is scant on the male/female dynamic that makes up YNGCULT, upon listening to their two-track debut EP, Capitoll, you can easily hear that they have put a great deal into their sound.
It's hard to choose a favorite between the frenetically balanced "Let's Get It Back" and the dubby, snare sampling "Sides Of War," but seeing as I have to pick one, my vote goes for the aforementioned "Let's Get It Back." While the beat is a journey through house and garage, it's the contrasting male/female vocals of YNGCULT that hook you in.
