Flashing back to February of this year, I picked up on a New York-based band called Yellerkin, who had just released a great EP including a track titled "Solar Laws."
More than six months later, they're back with a new single titled "Tools," though disappointingly I don't find it as enticing as the first one. There's a certain "umph" lacking to it, though many of the elements that made the aforementioned track so noteworthy are still present.
That said, in a vacuum / as a standalone, there's still some good indie rock allure to this one. So, I figured I'd bring it to y'all's attention.
