Why do we like this?
A couple days back I was sitting in the Cape Town International airport waiting for a flight. The TV nearby was pumping out one terrible music video after another, until -- to my surprise -- Years & Years' "King" popped up.
Turns out the latter is a pretty popular track, picking up more than 3 million SoundCloud plays to date. Naturally, that sets high expectations, and in light of that this new single "Worship" will likely fall flat. That doesn't mean it's a bad song, though.
"Worship" will appear on the band's debut album Communion, due for release on the 22nd of June and available for pre-order here.
