Proving that no collab goes unnoticed, ye. works together with Squired for a future leaning, bass heavy banger on "Gloss."
The collaboration definitely keeps the common themes of previous ye. tracks intact, but with Squired's influence, the track goes for more emotional breaks. Distinctly cinematic, "Gloss" makes up for being coated in the typical nuances of future bass we've come to expect by actually taking an opportunity to breathe in the breaks. With a minimal piano touch, and subtly shifting vocal chops, this is where "Gloss" has its masterful moments: knowing to take a knee for the sake of cohesion.
It's definitely beautiful and showcases how both of these young producers have managed to establish themselves amongst the plethora of young people attempting to craft the same soundscapes.
