Why do we like this?

This song was sent to me tagged as "lo-fi house." It totally isn't lo-fi house. Not by my definition, at least.

That doesn't seem to be a problem though, because what Yates has done here gets me grooving every single time I hit play.

Last time we picked up on the Berlin-based Aussie artist YATES was way back in 2016. Four years is certainly a lot of time to change one's vibe, and after a quick sample of the previous work we covered, it's clear he's leveled up a few notches.

"Digital Karma" will be included on YATES' upcoming EP 0/1, due for release some time this year.
