Why do we like this?
I was never much of a clubber, so house music isn't something I'm too familiar with. That said, when the right track is sent my way, I can definitely develop an appreciation for it from the safety of my desk chair. Melbourne DJ/production duo Yasumo's (Yanni Nair and Simon Salerno) latest single "I'm Missing You" is one such track.
The press release for this track states "we're not going to overly complicate this one," and with house music, I find this is the best course of action. A palpitating beat, a touch of disco, and a catchy hook and away you go -- club anthem ready!
The first official release from brand new Melbourne label Fall Street Records, the track even features vocals from label mate London (who we featured a couple of months ago). Keep an eye on Yasumo's SoundCloud for an upcoming remix package.
