Yari Blue is a rising artist out of Sweden who's creating some really cool and original music. After releasing the double single, "Not Just Friends / Soon Honey," earlier this year Yari follows it up with the playful "Cold."
Channeling hip-hop vibes of American sensation Noname, Yari drops smooth rhymes over an icy beat while also displaying her sultry singing voice. Produced by Slackin' Beats, Elgus, and Cikada, and mastered by Isidor Xavier Estrada, "Cold" is a bumping tune you can groove along too and showcases another side of the talented singer songwriter. Talking about the track on her Facebook page Yari had this to say:
Made this one with Elvis (Slackin' Beats) the first time we met. We talked about girls and compared some relationships to hangovers and drinking. I made a new friend and we made this song, what a bonus!
I'm really feeling this one and love how each of Yari's releases have all been vastly different compositions. I can't wait to hear what's coming next.
