Why do we like this?

A few weeks ago, I read a YouTube comment that said something like, “I have become one with the repeat button.” I've felt that way before, but hadn't experienced it in a while. That is, until I heard Yann Kesz’s “Beat.”

It kicks off eleven seconds in. Yann’s voice rings around the walls of your speakers, like cotton candy forming on a stick. He spins you around the same way Jason Burns might -- suspiciously sultry.

Off the Paris-based Nowadays Records (whose "About" page is smeared in fashionable black and white), Yann seems to be on pace to put out some trendy tracks. You can check out his recent EP, The Reflexxions Series, via the label's SoundCloud.
