Why do we like this?

Occasionally you bump into a band with a name that's virtually impossible to pronounce. Granted, you can try, and in this case my best guess would be that "Xul" is pronounced "Zool," like "jewel" with a zed.

 On top of a complex band name, Xul Zolar have chosen an equally tongue-twisting song title: "Ilajaly." Perhaps I'm just being completely naive and ignoring the fact that these words are native to another language (though given their German origin, I find that quite unlikely).

You'll find the track on the band's debut EP, due for release in early 2015. Until then, feel free to follow them on SoundCloud.
