Why do we like this?

Lets be frank here, you've come to this site for good music, but what is good music? Do all species have to agree? I imagine squirrels and pigeons might have tastes that are similar, however those would almost certainly differ from the preferences of a genet or an emu. 

Luckily, we are human and we have toilet paper. We can leave the squabbling over musical preference to our furry and scaled friends because the internet exists and our personal preferences are slowing melding into one. 

Thanks to algorithms we'll all converge on a singular sound that'll appease the masses, thus eliminating creativity and wiping out the arts. I'M VERY KEEN FOR THIS :)
