Why do we like this?

X preist X deliver another glorious, 80s driven synth number in the form of "Sophie K." The contrasting duo of young vocalist Madeline Priest and producer Dave Kazyk have already provided moments of vinrtage electronic ("Samurai" & "Isn't It So"), but "Sophie K" may be their best effort yet.

Taken from their forthcoming EP Samurai, "Sophie K" features shimmering synths with a very 80s, lo-fi feel, while Priest's innocent yet provocative vocals draw you in completely.

Big things await X preist X, so it's best you jump on board now before they become your friend's favourite new band.

Samurai is set for release April 15.
