Okay so someone has called wwoman's style "depression pop." It's uh... well... not really? Maybe that was for an older song, because FOA has a great driving tempo, laid back vocals, and doesn't really make me feel depressed.
wwoman isn't a wwoman. He's a man named Gi Smee who happens to have long hair. He's described the song as "what it feels like to float away from your home and family and planet against your will," so maybe it is depression pop after all?
All things considered, I'd say it's safe to say that music is in the ear of the beholder, and in this case I think that wwoman's "FOA" is a really nice song.
