Why do we like this?
Pittsburgh-based bedroom producer, wwoman, has been shown a bit of love by a number of Indie Shuffle writers over the past year, and now it's my turn to sing his praises.
"Chuchi" is the creative's latest single, a joyful indie-pop tune focusing on the feeling of losing someone who might not come back. As wwoman explains;
Chuchi is about the dread in knowing that you may have lost someone and the pervasive anxiety of not knowing if they’ll come back to you or be gone forever. If they don’t come back you will die. If they do come back will it even be the same?
Despite the somewhat depressing themes, "Chuchi" is an upbeat and melodic single from an exciting talent.
