I have electronica infused with R&B so badly on my radar right now. No surprises then that this track jumped out a mile at me. I especially adore its opening seconds as it sets the scene ridiculous well for the mellow, slinky soulful jam that's to come.
This is made by WRLD, aka David Lawson, a young Dutch producer. And when I say young, I mean he just turned 18. It features the vocals of a name you might not have seen before by Ehiorobo.
David's backstory reads like a dream. He started messing around with different types of music making software programs and came up with something he liked. He forwarded it to mega label Monstercat, they jumped on it and he hasn't looked back. Possible superstar in the making.
