Why do we like this?
Some minimal tech-house for you! This one comes from Wreal, a New York duo that I've never heard of, but my boyfriend shared it with me and I thought it was pretty cool.
Not too much going on with the dynamics, but sometimes a minimal production works well when you're in a minimal mood. "Feels Good" makes no false claims, but the feel-good parts really come from remixer Joss Moog, who's added in all those warm samples and a bit of melody.
The simple repetitious quality of this track is like focus food, or, as some like to call it, hypnosis. Whatever it is, "Feels Good" will make all those scattered thoughts a little bit more manageable.
