Here we go again: I'm going to say something about how difficult this genre is to stand out in, and how Woodes exceeded my expectations in doing so.
Or... will I? Okay, I suppose I sorta just did. Either way, the point stands: this is a good song, made even better by the fact that it's one of the hardest genres to stand out in.
The fact that this song is good is no coincidence. Rather than try to put it into my own words, I'll just quote from the press release: "[Woodes] co-produced the track with Simon Lam (Nearly Ontario/one half of Melbourne duo Kllo) as well as enlisting an all star choir for the backing vocals including: Alex Lahey, LANKS, Lupa J, Nirrimi, Abraham Tilbury, Edward Vanzet, Golden Vessel, Tommy Wilson, Juice Webster, Uncle Bobby, Jaysways and Batts."
Gee whiz. Clearly top-notch.
