Sounds like:
Mord Fustang,
Aaren San,
Dada Life
Why do we like this?
It's been way too long since I've featured a good old electronica track for Song of the Day, so here's one that tears it up by Wolfgang Gartner.
"The Champ" comes off his most recent release, Weekend in America. Actually, this is his first and only LP to date, which is pretty remarkable when one considers that he has already been nominated for a Grammy.
I've seen Joey Youngman perform once -- at SXSW as The Kills were setting up. It was actually a really annoying show because they started to do a sound check over him. After about two songs of frustration, he flicked them off and walked off the stage. Since then I"ve hated The Kills.
