Wolf Gang is a four-piece band from London, England comprised of Max McElligott, James Wood, Gavin Slater, and Lasse Petersen. Since the release of debut album Suego Faults, they've been touring for almost three years straight, opening for the likes of Coldplay, The Killers, and Bastille, to name a few.
They just started touring with Sir Sly and Secret Someones, and I recently caught them in Fort Lauderdale at the Culture Room. Check out my photos from the show here, and an interview with the band below. I recommend checking out these three awesome bands live, so hit up Wolf Gang's website for more information on the tour.
Your debut album, Suego Faults, came out in 2011. How has touring been since that was released?
We have been touring for three years now. It's been good because we have played in a lot countries with some awesome bands, which has been great experience. We love playing live!
Any new music coming out soon?
We recently released an EP, Black River, which included the song "Black River." Our next single, "Lay Your Love Down," will be released soon. Both songs will be included on our next record, which is due out very soon.
How did touring with Sir Sly and Secret Someones come together?
It's a label tour. Our label Cherrytree Records put it together. The three bands all have a certain pop sensibility, yet we each have a unique style. Both bands have been brilliant so far on the tour. We have only played two gigs so far, but all shows have come together really well.
