Why do we like this?
So fellow Shuffler Hugh and I were pretty excited about the release of Wintercoats' (aka Melbourne's James Wallace) latest EP Heartful, and turns out we had every right to be. It's truly astonishing to know that as a solo artist, James Wallace had the capacity to play each and every instrument on the entire EP, which is definitely no easy feat.
"Heirloom," the standout track on the EP, is so wonderfully engaging -- it instantly manages to transport you to another world. Hushed choruses and a deeply layered crescendo of violins are an absolute match made in heaven in this dreamy production. It's just so easy to get swept away in this gorgeous and stunning orchestral pop piece.
The EP is now available as a pay as you please download through Yes Please, so hurry over and grab your copy now!
