Why do we like this?
Melbourne electronic duo Willow Beats have the makings of a true powerhouse. The uncle-niece combination gained immediate success after their earlier single, "Alchemy," was terrifically received by radio and online media alike. Now, they're set to do the same with their brand new track, "Elemental."
The second track off their upcoming debut EP Alchemy, it sees them take on a slightly different approach from the glitchy beats of the earlier single. "Elemental" is a smooth number, with vocalist Kalyani Ellis' slinky vocals featured heavily throughout. Complete with typically adventurous production, Willow Beats say this one "was inspired by nature's spirits and elements," hence the almost celestial vibe this track takes on.
This one's a free download over at their SoundCloud. The Alchemy EP is due out on May 27, and I cannot wait to see what Willow Beats have in store.
