Why do we like this?

Wilkinson is quite literally a God walking among mere mortals when it comes to creating the most melodic and anthemic drum & bass tracks, and his latest offering featuring the slick bars of Wretch 32 is no different.

The first single from this second album, "Flatline" speaks volumes on Wilkinson's talent and musicality as he fuses hip-hop, D&B, and elements of funk and soul. If Wretch's enticing flow isn't enough for you, the horns that sweep in with the chorus will be sure to do it.

Speaking on the track, Wilkinson said:

“I wanted to do something different with this record. I wanted to keep it on a drum and bass tip but work with an artist to bridge the DNB and hip hop scenes in an interesting and distinctly British fashion. I'm into REAL rappers and personally for me, the finest lyricist in the UK is Wretch. He's a rappers rapper! His punchlines and delivery are incredible and I'm really happy with how the record turned out!"

"Flatline" is without a doubt going to roll into the summer playlists of everyone with a set of ears, it's already in mine.
