Why do we like this?

We've covered Wildcat! Wildcat! in a variety of forms in the past, but none of them have been as poppy / Passion Pit-esque as this new single "Garden Grays." Contrary to the song title, this track is nothing but rainbows and sunshine.

The song comes as the LA-based duo gear up for the release of their self-titled EP, due September 10th via Downtown Records. It weighs heavily on wholesome synth work and falsetto vocals, a combination that has worked well for them in the past (hear "The Chief").

Clearly we were on the right track when we included Wildcat! Wildcat! in our list of bands to watch in 2013.
