Why do we like this?

Wild Child's newest single "Break Bones" sees the band's sound evolve quite substantially, moving from an authentically endearing bedroom-folk sound to one that comes across as thoroughly produced.

The result leaves me slightly torn: on one hand, I love to see a band grow; on the other, it almost feels like a completely new act.

Ultimately I'm still into it enough to share, but I'll let you be the judge as to whether this is a positive direction.
