Why do we like this?
I think I've found myself a new favorite track! Blake Cowan's moniker is Wickerbird and his song is called "The Westering," taken from his upcoming EP The Westering, set to release on March 26, 2013.

This is the type of track you put on when you want to soothe your soul and your mind. Considering the remaining structure of the song, Wickerbird teeters right on the edge of reality and a dream-like ethereal state. This indie folk movement has been strongly leading the pack when it comes to preferred genres these days, and "The Westering" is the perfect fit for anyone who has an affinity for said genre. It makes even more sense when I tell you that Wickerbird hails from Washingston state. There are even nature sounds in the background of this song. It makes me yearn for spring.

In all the chaos of today's fast-paced, no-time-for-sleep world, Wickerbird can be that lullaby you need to bring you back down to serenity.
