Why do we like this?
For those of you not familiar with POP ETC, perhaps referring to them as The Morning Benders might be helpful? That's because they changed their name earlier this year to something...well, arguably catchier?
They've released a good chunk of music since then, and their stylings are certainly more-aligned with an indie pop feel. And that includes their covers. Where they once tackled The Jungle Book's "I Wanna Be Like You," they've now moved on to more mature subject matter: Whitney Houston.
So, how's this version chalk up? Pretty well, if you ask me. It definitely captures their slight change in style, but watching the accompanying music video brings it all back down to earth.
