Why do we like this?
Hailing from the dark corners of New York, this duo classifies themselves as makers of music under the "witch house" sub-genre.
Although I couldn't gather much in terms of this band's bio, I would have to say that it wouldn't surprise me if this group makes music drunk off virginal blood while simultaneously worshiping some sort of dark lord. But I digress.
The track I give you today is titled "Roses"; a haunting gem that recalls a Crystal Castles vibe with lady screams and spookified tranced-out house rhythms. From the first listen, it's understood that they aren't afraid to rattle our eardrums with suffocating blown-out bass, scary sound effects and high-pitched chanting.
Not only will you feel uncomfortable and spooked while listening, you will feel almost compelled to dance by some higher spirit.
