Why do we like this?
Holy mother of God. Seven listens in and I still can't take this song off repeat. From start to finish, it comes across as an absolute masterpiece.
Unkwon is a little-known producer based out of Denmark, and while we haven't featured him before, it's no surprise that he's decided to tackle Copenhagen-based band When Saints Go Machine. They are neighbors, after all.
With this remix he has managed to transform "Love And Respect" (the opening track to their new album Infinity Pool) from a heavy hip-hop track into a chilled out and percussive electronic single. Coupled with the rhyming of Killer Mike, this one comes out as one of my favorite tracks in the last couple months, barely taking a leg up over the original.
Infinity Pool is out May 13th via !K7 Records.
