Why do we like this?
Talented Adelaide singer songwriter Jesse Davidson is quickly making a name for himself. Already adored by many of the Indie Shuffle writers, particularly old mate Hugh, Davidson has today released a cover of my favorite Wham! track, the gloriously sorrowful "Last Christmas."
Davidson's take injects a greater guitar and percussion presence, with his amazing voice giving the song a whole new perspective. There's a real subtle emotional pull to Davidson's vocals, giving the theme of a lost love a much greater punch than the 80s original.
