Why do we like this?

I really loved Washed Out's last released ("Get Lost"), which meant that when this new song popped up in my YouTube feed I couldn't wait to hit play.

Fortunately, "Hard To Say Goodbye" doesn't disappoint. It channels the perfect amount of funky chillwave energy, a sound I reckon a lot of folks will compare to Toro y Moi. And I can't blame them for that.
