With the addition of simple drum beats and heavier bass, SposhRock has transformed Washed Out's "Eyes Be Closed" from chillwave to new-wave. What's the difference, you ask? Not really sure. Perhaps it's the drumming and bass...perhaps it's all made up. Simply put, it's the way that SposhRock describes his changes.
If you were to ask me, I'd say that this version is a little less smooth and has a little bit more tempo. But regardless, SposhRock has taken a track that I already enjoyed and kept it thoroughly enjoyable.
