Why do we like this?
Who are Walla? I didn't know until about five minutes, when I discovered their single "No Time" premiered by our buddies at All Things Go.
Based out of Los Angeles, the indie pop quartet are gearing up to release an EP titled Nature in early June. Their sound has hints of Empire of the Sun, Two Door Cinema Club, and a number of other awesome indie pop bands. So the setup is ripe, and execution thus far thoroughly infectious.
Ultimately, "No Time" is a cookie cutter indie pop song with few frills or experiments. And that's probably why I find it so easy to identify with.
