Australian-based artist Wafia has slowly been building an impressive body of work these past few years and it all looks set to pay off with her latest release "I'm Good."
Co-written with Wrabel (Ellie Goulding, Adam Lambert) and produced by Grammy nominated writer/producer John Hill (Portugal. the Man, Foster The People), "I'm Good" is an infectious burst of feel good pop that delivers on Wafia's promise as one of Australia's next big things.
A joyful R&B meets pop explosion of soulful vocals and buzzing production, "I'm Good" is one of the best pop songs you'll hear this year. Wafia's vocals are dynamic, with the Netherland's born 24-year-old expressing her raw feelings about a breakup.
At the time I could foresee heartbreak that I was going to have to work through and I wanted to write the song that I'd want to hear at the end of it all. There was this running joke between myself and Wrabel that we'd love to write a song with the word loser in it and the song came together very quickly after that.
The release of "I'm Good" coincides with Wafia announcing a world tour, which kicks off in Melbourne this coming October before traveling to Europe and North America.
