Why do we like this?

My pal Wyatt recently shot over a link to his new EP, which immediately brought me back to last summer when I shared his Pokémon-sampling instrumental "I Think I Think About You Too Much."

There's something quixotic about w. baer's chilling, doomed-romantic take on electronica, then and now. Baer's innocently spooky style is encapsulated by the EP's closing track "ISO." It's fitting theme music for an abandoned chapel crumbling slowly somewhere in the dark.
