Why do we like this?

L.A.-based artist Mike Harris is the newest artist to enter the ever competitive music industry with a new, genre-bending single under the moniker VOKES. 

"Cruel Game" is the kind of single that evokes feelings of lust and passion. There's certainly a lot to like from this debut release in regards to the smooth lyricism and downtempo hooks, but for me the sensual vocals here are the real winner. 

At the two minute mark prepare yourself for a barraging display of fuzzed-out synths that will leave you in a euphoric state. I certainly didn't see it coming.
