Why do we like this?
Montreal record label Visage Musique has just put out this brand new EP from their newly signed band Violence. It's short and sweet, packing five songs that all play perfectly together.
This tune, "Facades," is the one that stands out the most for me. The music lands on the darker side of synth-pop, with a steady beat and a drone-y synth loop that you might hear while battling in Tron. They end the song with some lighter string-synths that act as an outro guitar solo as the song fades away into the night.
